The Guitar School Swindon is extremely proud of the service it provides and the team of teachers that have been assembled to provide this best practice service. It is fully understood and readily accepted that our teachers who are some of the best in the country and our students are the most valuable asset and the key means by which we can achieve our goals individually and together. It is unique, one of it’s kind and No1 in the UK in terms of format, lesson schedules, grading, song development and of course fun. Founder Howard Tucker has 30 years of experience teaching music across the world and has owned numerous music academies around the world and the UK. You can learn to perform, learn to play with others in a band, learn your favourite songs and become and accomplished graded musician. You learn at your pace in a fun and collaborative environment. The school runs a unique range of courses in Guitar, Electric Guitar, Singing, Drums and Bass and carries out all contemporary and classical examinations including the Royal Academy of the Royal School of Music and Trinity Rock School. The school also runs GCSE support modules across all genres of music, band and performance direction which is a unique selling point and the school is no elitist ensuring that all students are able to perform. All students are individually graded weekly at The Guitar School Swindon and are provided with homework to ensure there is continual progression. Goals are set for individuals and The Guitar School teachers are appraised on their performance and that of their students.
